Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an app that can save your home's maps as well as set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate through rooms while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These are essential features for my house, filled with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum cleaner, so it naturally comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pet toys plants, small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also features an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which lifts the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile hardwood, carpet and rugs to avoid soaking these types of soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can set it and forget it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and returned to its base for a recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

This is a highly complete and robust product, with the only drawback being the fact that it's expensive. Its sheer number of features makes it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It has an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed well across all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of the debris on all floors and managing to lift long hair with no tangling. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement and a strong dose cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag for dirt, then refills the water tank to use to mop and also dry your mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid mops I tested. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned out and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads that are sold separately also require changing regularly.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. For those who are on a budget, I suggest considering a less basic model that allows you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could purchase, its high cost and constant maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop combination comes with a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts an enormous battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. And it is equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It even has mop rollers that clean itself as it moves and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean to wash off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost entire length of the bot, and it is constantly filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is swept away with the side brushes, or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and then pumped into a larger storage container. The tank onboard holds plenty of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do most robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did most robots. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple of times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my testing, but this may be fixed when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is dense, with a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process.  Robot Vacuum Mops  can choose to manually clean the entire area that this device maps or select specific rooms, an expandable zone or a custom routine you've designed. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the area.

The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just like the other Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is reliable, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, leaving no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets that are thick, but it might not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires and rug tassels.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's an easy solution: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up" at the end of each session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces of dust and debris that are left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps the robot make its clean better than its cheaper rivals.
